Mr. Mike Winston graduated in dentistry from the University of Birmingham in 1984.  After two years as a registrar in oral and maxillo-facial surgery he gained the Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1986. 

He went on to graduate in medicine and surgery from the University of Cambridge following this with a period of general surgical training and two further years of higher surgical training as specialist registrar in oral and maxillo-facial surgery.

Since then, as well as providing an oral surgery, implant and sedation service in practice he has completed a comprehensive two year practical implant and bone grafting course with extended mentoring at the University of Sheffield.  He is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons.

Mike welcomes referrals for surgical dentistry under local anaesthetic with or without intravenous sedation and any extractions with intravenous sedation.
