Oral Health Assessment

Looking after your oral health now is the best way to prevent problems in the future. At Liverpool Smile Studio we give all our patients a comprehensive oral health assessment, including any necessary X-rays. Our check provides:

1. A full mouth oral cancer screen.
2. A full examination of intra and extra oral soft tissues for any signs of infection or disease.
3. An assessment of teeth for any signs of decay.
4. A record of any tooth wear from grinding, acid erosion or tooth brushing.
5. A score of any areas of harmful plaque or tartar and the effectiveness of your brushing and flossing.
6. An assessment of the health of the gums and the surrounding jaw bone, for signs of gum disease.
7. A risk assessment of the position and strength of the teeth.
8. A record of all existing fillings and a report on signs of fractures or ledges.
9. A record of all existing crowns, veneers, bridges or implants for fit, appearance and function.
10. An assessment of any dentures for fit, appearance and function.
