Unfortunately not. Sometimes a denture can only be as stable as the foundations it sits upon. If the gums have shrunk considerably, then there may be insufficient support for a denture. Flexible dentures and chrome dentures generally have a better fit. In other cases dental implants or the use of a denture fixative could be solutions.
