At Liverpool Smile Studio, our in-house orthodontist welcomes patients of all ages for teeth straightening consultations, whether you require quick cosmetic correction or more extensive treatment.
We use both fixed braces and removable aligners at our Liverpool dental practice, with each system more suitable for different types of correction. Remember, it’s never too late to consult an orthodontist, nor to benefit from straightening your teeth.
How your Liverpool orthodontist can help
When you come into Liverpool Smile Studio for an orthodontic consultation, our orthodontist will perform a through clinical examination, as well as listening to what you wish to achieve from any treatment, and any lifestyle factors that may come into play.
Among the treatment options available from your Liverpool orthodontist are:
Six Month Smiles
These fast-acting braces are designed first and foremost for cosmetic correction, but as with any orthodontic treatment will also benefit your dental health. Comprised of clear ceramic braces and tooth-coloured nickel-titanium wires, these braces act in an average of six months and focus on the teeth that show when you smile.
A single, removable, clear aligner, the Inman Aligner is good for treating protruding front teeth and adult relapse. This rapid-acting treatment takes from a few weeks to a couple of months to reposition your teeth.
Your orthodontist can use FastBraces for cases requiring more extensive correction. Their unique design enables them to move both the roots and crowns of the teeth at the same time, unlike standard braces which move your teeth in two parts. This significantly reduces typical treatment times. At our Liverpool dental practice we offer tooth-coloured ceramic FastBraces.
Treatment with Invisalign involves using a series of clear, removable aligners to guide your teeth into a better position. Each case varies, so your orthodontist will tell you how many aligners you will need when you come to our Liverpool practice for a consultation. You wear each aligner for two weeks, then move on to the next one. Because they are removable, no special dental hygiene techniques are needed.
